Help
Generate a prompt on the website, or use the installed connection to get finished writing directly in your AI model.
Two ways to use Writing Intelligence
- On the website: generate a prompt
- Describe your task and choose your writing options. The website generates a prompt, not the finished text. Copy it into your AI model and send it to get your article, email or other writing.
- With the installed connection: get finished writing
- Connect Writing Intelligence in the app you use with your AI model. Then describe your task in that conversation. Your AI model uses the writing skills and returns the finished text there, without you copying a prompt.
Both ways use the same writing skills. The difference is where you make your request and how the guidance reaches your AI model.
Generate a prompt on the website
- Choose a writing type. Select Article, SEO Writing, Email & Newsletter or another type. Leave Let the app choose selected if you prefer the app to identify it from your request.
- Describe what you need. In Your writing request, say what to write and include the facts that matter. Add an audience, tone or length when you have a preference.
- Select Generate prompt. The app prepares writing instructions for your AI model. If it shows One detail needed, answer the question and select Continue.
Example request
Write an email to our team confirming Tuesday’s meeting at 10 a.m. Ask everyone to bring their project update. Keep it under 100 words.
Writing goal can stay on Choose automatically. Choose a goal when you want a particular approach, such as explaining a topic or writing for search.
Open appAdd supporting material
Open Supporting material when you have text the AI model should use. Choose the material type before pasting it.
- Source material
- Facts, notes or excerpts to use in the writing. For example, paste the meeting notes for a summary. Include source names or links when you have them; a link alone does not fetch the page’s contents.
- Draft
- Existing text to revise. Describe the changes in Your writing request, then paste the text here. Improve an Existing Draft requires a draft.
- Context
- Background that helps explain the situation, audience or purpose. For example, explain that the readers are new customers who have never used your product.
Include only what the task needs. Your request and pasted material are not saved by Writing Intelligence.
Copy your prompt into your AI model
When you see Prompt ready, select Copy prompt and paste it into a conversation with your AI model. Send it to generate the finished text. View prompt lets you read the instructions first.
If your browser blocks copying, the app shows the prompt so you can select and copy it manually.
Check the finished text against your facts and requirements. To change the direction, edit your request or writing options and generate a new prompt.
Write with the installed connection
- Connect once. Open Connect your AI model on the website and follow the setup steps in the app you use with your AI model. Sign in to Writing Intelligence and approve the requested access.
- Make your request in the conversation. Ask your AI model to use Writing Intelligence and describe what you want written. Include your facts, draft and preferences in the same conversation.
- Receive the finished text. Your AI model gets the relevant writing guidance from Writing Intelligence and writes the result in your conversation. If an essential detail is missing, it asks you before continuing.
Example request
Use Writing Intelligence to write an email to our team confirming Tuesday’s meeting at 10 a.m. Ask everyone to bring their project update. Keep it under 100 words.
You do not need to fill in the website form or copy a prompt for this workflow. The installed connection provides the writing guidance; your AI model writes the finished text.
Direct connections require an app that supports authenticated remote MCP. Availability depends on the app and account you use with your AI model. If a connection is unavailable, use the website’s generated prompt instead.
View connection stepsManage your account
Create an account with your email and password, then verify your email. You can sign in again with your password without requesting a new email each time.
If you forget your password, select Forgot password on the sign-in page. Use the latest recovery email. If its link has expired, request a new one.
In Account settings, you can view your email, request a password reset and disconnect an AI model connection. Disconnecting removes that client’s access to Writing Intelligence; it does not delete conversations in the app you use with your AI model.
